The British Kendama Associtation has started its own official gradings
10.1. 2012

The British Kendama Associtation (BKA) wants to stay compatible with the Japan Kendama Association (JKA), so the trick lists and grades remain the same. JKA gradings are recognized by the BKA, but unfortunately BKA gradings are not
recognized by the JKA yet. Unlike the JKA, participants must pay for BKA gradings: Kyu: £2 / €2.50, Pre-Dan: £5 / €6, Dan: £10 / €12.
For those of you who want to get their Kendama grades, I would recommend you get the JKA ones; they're free and recognized by the JKA.
The BKA grading system should be spread around Europe and we are working hard to be the first to implement them.
Next chances to get BKA grades:
21st January 2012 The Bristol University Juggling Convention
28th January 2012 The 2012 BKA Northern Regional Championships
Near chance to get JKA grades:
35th European Juggling Convention Lublin, Poland 28.07-05.08.2012
BKA Skill Level Examinations
